My return to Chinchilla yesterday was nostalgic. The last time I was there was pre-Covid and the place is still as Stunning as always……The food is great….similar to (Bungalow) absolutely delicious but unlike Bungalow, they may want to go slow on the racial profiling…..like I’m there to spend my money, treat me equally whether I’m black, brown , yellow, pink or whatever.

We stopped here for rooftop drinks and desserts on our first day visiting Cape Town. We were able to find a nice lounge location for the five of us. The vibe was chill and it was a gorgeous spot to see the sunset. I ordered the Litchi & Basil cocktail. It was refreshing and a good size. And we ordered an assortment of delicious desserts. It was a great spot for our first day.

We visited Camps Bay for the first time yesterday, and what a gem this place is. Close to Cape Town but has a village vibe to the place. We went to the promenade, which is chock-a-block with bars, and we picked the best one - Chinchilla. The best view, a good selection of cocktails and cracking sushi (unfortunately no pictures). We stayed much longer than planned because it was so nice. Certainly coming back here.

Celebrated my birthday here, and I could not have chosen a better place,Loved everything about the place not too busy , probably because they said only bookings.The guy that took care of us the service was just outstanding, pity I can’t remember his name , he is mainly the reason we enjoyed being there.

From all the spots I’ve been to, this is the one that impacted me the most. Lucky to find a table on sea front and weather was awesome.

Loved the atmosphere and friendliness of all the servers. They were super accommodating even when I asked for a drink order to be amended and didn't charge me for it. You usually don't find that at these kinds of places. However, the menu is overpriced even for it being on the promenade.
